this knitted Hat Wig is going on the stage! It has just flown off to the University of California, San Diego to take part in a show put on by a drama student for her thesis show, based around the Simpsons characters. I just love the way these wigs are having a life of their own in many different guises all over the world. (Patterns for them can be found in my Etsy shop.)
So here is the thing, yesterday, 21 January 2015, my husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer. This is the new journey it takes us on.

Congratulations! How did you ever come up with such a unique idea?

I was looking on the internet for ideas for knitted hats and saw a knitted wig, but could not find a pattern, so just for fun and to see if I could, I devised a pattern. During my experiments to create the pattern I made a few prototypes that I put into the Etsy shop and was asked for the pattern – hey presto! The wonderful co-creative world of the internet!
