Big Sister chose the colours she wanted
Stylecraft Special DK: Bright Pink, Magenta, Lavender, Soft Peach, & Sunshine.
We found a cushion, no longer in use, to cover.
I got busy with the ripples.
To make a neat seam, I did a row of single crochet along each side
And then sewed up using mattress stitch, worked from the right side.
I was lucky to find some sweet heart-shaped buttons with flowers on them in just the right colours
And Big Sister was delighted to have a new cushion for her bedroom
Coming downstairs I noticed the shoes in the hall and couldn’t resist a photo … my son and his girls …. aaaah …
Linking in with Ginny’s Yarn Along where you can see over a 100 other fabulous yarn projects on the go.
What a pretty pillow! And the shoe picture made me smile. :^)

The colours worked didn’t they – Big Sis done good! – glad you like it. I wish I had bought more of the buttons now – I will have to see if they still have them in stock, next time I’m up that way. xxx

The buttons were so pretty it would be worth getting more if they still have them. I bet you would soon find a use for them! 🙂

Oooo glad you like it, Big Sister chose the colours, but her Mum did not want too much yellow, so I snuck in a stripe – I love making the little ones’ ideas and colour choices come to life. The buttons were a real lucky find, in a tiny shop just down the road from where they live in London.
