In a vase on Monday in Japan

I’m looking forward to being able to share more details of this fabulous trip on my return. I’m having the BEST time!

joining in with Cathy’s meme at Rambling in the garden, and doing my best on the iPad, but it’s not easy! I can’t seem to do the links.

  3. Hey Sandra! Wow, sounds like you’re enjoying an exotic walk in Japan!!! I’m still on the iPad (since April) and prefer using WP’s classic format to build my blog posts, if that helps you? Have fun and keep safe! 🙂 ♥ ❤

    • Thanks for the tip! Back to the laptop tomorrow! Japan is a fabulous place, I felt completely safe at all times. The culture is one of politeness and welcome – a very exotic walk! Looking forward to sharing more once I’ve settled in back home. Can’t wait to unpack and go through all the photos -as you can imagine, there are masses!

  4. I too find the tablet challenging to blog from. Sorry it’s not just me 😦 Hope you are enjoying the culture and everything else Japan has to offer. Hugs, Melissa

  5. They do it so differently in Japan, don’t they? This is stunning, even though it might look simple at first glance. You do realise we shall be expecting be expecting great things of your vases when you get back home…?

    • Ha! Ha! It was a truly inspiring trip. The Japanese do not seem to grow many flowers in their gardens, either public or private, mainly clipped shrubs and cloud pruned trees, but everywhere there were small stylishly simple ikebana type flower arrangements. I was so pleased to see that this is an everyday occurrence in homes and public spaces.

    • Thank you for your comment Donna. I am back in England now after a fabulous trip. I was so delighted to see that shops, galleries and homes all had very simple ikebana type flower arrangements in them as a matter of course.
