Joining Ronovan’s Haiku Challenge
and our Weekly Photo Challenge
Four of us had fun creating the list for this challenge. You can leave a link to your WINTER photo post in the Comments on Rainbow Jane’s blog; Nana Cathy’s blog (she usually posts on Tuesdays); Melissa’s blog, she has a super busy life and posts when she can; or in the comments for this post.
I will sweep them all up for a Review on Sunday sometime after 9am GMT.
If you would like to join the list as a regular contributor then let NanaCathy know and she will post your blog address each week along with all our other regulars.
Next week’s prompt is
STITCH
This picture and haiku is lovely.

Winter is behaving strangely but like you I grabbed my camera last week when the rain cleared and the temperatures dropped. Thanks for hosting the challenge, my contribution is https://digwithdorris.wordpress.com/2016/01/29/52-week-photo-challenge-winter

Lovely combination of haiku and photo (as usual). Loved the Bjork video––what a mellifluous sound. Thanks for sharing. 🙂 xx

Thank you Vashti you are very kind, so glad you enjoyed the twinkly tinkly tune.

This is fabulous! I can almost feel the frost! Your haiku is lovely, also. I love Bjork – my daughter saw her in concert and absolutely had the best time. Perfect complement to your photo.

Thanks Jen – wow I should think a Bjork concert would be like an out-of-body experience – she is an extraordinary woman!

Hi Roz, the link did not work, but I have changed it so that it does. Great to have another entry combining the Haiku and Photo – it often seems impossible at first but you did a grand job!

No frost here I’m afraid to say, just rain, rain, rain! What is this that you have photographed? It’s so familiar but I can’t name it. Beautiful macro and the haiku suits it perfectly.

We only had 2 frosty days, so I grabbed the camera and took some photos. It is an ivy flower head.

That’s why it’s so familiar…all around my yard, minus the frost 🙂

I love your winter photo Sandra – and realised when I came to look at mine that I hadn’t taken any close ups this time. I could have used an older one, but I wanted it to be topical and relate to this winter. But I have been prompt with all the prompts this time – and no knots! Hurrah! Here is mine: https://ramblinginthegarden.wordpress.com/2016/01/26/winter-haiku/

We just had 2 days last week of beautiful frost and sunshine, so I rushed out with my camera to capture a photo for this week’s prompt – we are back to the wind and rain now – relentless isn’t it!

Oh, I know. I was really hoping we might have some respite for a bit longer, but here it is back again. No dog walk today!
