I have had a few wonderful days in Margate, staying with a friend and helping her with a bit of DIY. But first a visit to the Turner Gallery where I found this dinky slinky in the shop and hey presto, I had my photo for SPRING.image

  5. Oh, aren’t you clever! Perfect interpretation, and a perfectly framed slinky. I remember them fondly…seeing yours I’m hearing the swishy sound they make going down stairs. Fun!

  6. I loved a slinky to play with in my youth. My children were given one and we couldnt get it to slink off down the stairs. Dont they make the right sort of stairs any more? Fun. Anyway I have a different sort of spring going on.

    • Slinkies added magic to my Christmas one year as a child and we played with it for ages until it got all twisted over itself. You’ve got me wondering about Slinkies and modern stairs – I think I might have to go out and get a full sized one.
