Fern, Nigella, Ivy and Sweet Cicely

 

I’m fascinated with the sweet twist on the buds of the Sisyrinchium Striatum (hope I’ve got the name right – is there a common name that’s easier to remember?)

All plants seen recently at Chelsea Flower Show: Nigella, Sweet Cicely, fern, variegated ivy, Ladies Mantle and ‘Sisy’.

They sit in a basket that was carried by Big Sister when she was a bridesmaid recently.

The medicinal garden with a pebble path meant to be walked upon in bare feet as a reflexology walk.

I like the way the seat sits in the bank.
