dust pie for tea again, when will it end

The photo was taken in 2011 when I was having alterations done in the house which went on twice as long as forecast and cost nearly twice as much as the estimate – standard!

Next week’s photo prompt is

WATER

  4. Dust pie is a very apt description, as anyone knows who has endured such a level of renovations!!

  6. Dust pie nightmare is hard to endure. Mine lasted a few weeks. Not pleasant! We had to put our appliances in the living room while the kitchen was being renovated. Loved your poem. 🙂

  8. Oh, I believe I’ve eaten and served “dust pie”! We have recently finished one project and are entering into the next (although less major). Great haiku!!

  11. Sounds like a tough time. I remember in my previous house having work done and finding brick dust on the dining table every morning so I smiled knowingly at your haiku!
