River

My entry for our photo challenge this week. Prompt RIVER.

One of my very favourite places on earth, where the River Solva flows into the sea at Solva, Nr. St. Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales.

This is rather a hasty post and the first time in about 2 years that I have not combined it with Ronovan’s Haiku Challenge.

My Mum has been in and out of hospital this week and my sister and I are taking it in turns to be with her 24hours a day. Nothing life threatening but she needs to stay in bed and she is not too happy about that!

Looking forward to seeing everyone’s ‘River’s when I have a moment to catch up.

I will get a Round-up together, but not today. No idea when!

    • Thank you so much Barbara. Mum is no longer in hospital which is a blessing as with Alzheimers she was frightened most of the time she was there. I’m so looking forward to getting back to Solva in a few weeks time.

  5. It does indeed look a lovely place. Sorry your Mum has been poorly and do make sure you and your sister get some rest too as you will be able to support your Mum better that way

  7. Solva is such a pretty little harbour, isn’t it? It is the climb up the Gribbin and down the other side that gets me every time though, but always worth the effort.
Hope your Mum is better soon.
