A photo from the archives of Miss E about 5 years ago at a ford in the river, on one of our favourite local walks.
This Round-Up is a week late – I’m peddling hard to catch up after over a week spent mostly by my Mum’s bedside. Thank you so much for all the good wishes. She is still struggling but we are moving slowly forward. I am still spending a part of each day with her at her Care Home, which I am glad to be able to do. It is a relief that she is out of hospital.
I have really loved seeing all the RIVER entries – a calming window of beautiful images from around the world has helped in a turbulent week:
Jane at Rainbow Junkie……. …………… ……five
Cathy at Nanacathy…….. ……. ……….. …….two
Me at Wild Daffodil……… ……… ………. ….one
💜 Denis at Haiku Hound…….. ……….. ……curious
Christina A Look at the Little Things ……. …ice
Dorris at Dig With Dorris………………….. bridge
Debbie at Curiosity Takes Me…………………drama
The denotes a post that is also joining in with Ronovan’s Haiku Challenge .
It’s fun to combine the two challenges and normally I do – but these last couple of weeks have been too topsy turvy for my poor little brain to contemplate anything too strenuous!
Thanks to Denis for keeping it going this week.
The ⭐️ denotes a post with a poem written to go with the photo.
Please let me know if I have missed any RIVER entries.
Thank you everyone who joined us.
Four fab photo fiends created the 52 Week Photo Challenge, we are:
- Cathy from Nanacathydotcom
- Jane from Rainbowjunkiecorner
- Melissa from The Aran Artisan
- Sandra from Wild Daffodil

I absolutely love this photo. Looks like it should be the cover of Anne of Green Gables or something. 🙂

Thank you for your sweet thoughts. After this post, my Mum (87 with Alzheimers) went back into hospital, had an operation and, today is happily back in her lovely care home. Oh my it has been such a roller coaster, but on we go – she amazes me each day. ❤

Sorry to hear that your mum is struggling to get better. Much more important to look after her than keep up to date with blog.
