Have a gorgeous Autumnal Day.
Oh I just love walking through the leaves, piled up against the curb or falling from the trees and blowing in the wind. You captured the briskness of the day and briskness of the walkers’ steps!

Thank you Cee. There are two ‘Walks’ like this in our local town planted in the Victorian era I think – such foresight.

Your haiku is beautiful! I love seeing the moon still visible in the early morning hours. The orange moon does look like the orange colored leaves.

Thank you Denis, I do love Autumn….. until the shock of the clocks going back, I really don’t like that bit.

Ouch! I’ll be thinking of you and a candle is lit sending you healing vibes – don’t forget to take some Arnica. ❤

Good idea which I overlooked. On the ferry crossing the sea now…when I return. Thanks for your thoughtfully lit candle. Xx

Great colours and what an aweful lot of leaves! Here are some colours from western Canada. Autumn is such a wonderful time of year. I was going to say my favourite, but I don’t think I can say I have a favourite. http://www.curiositytakesme.com/colourful-kelowna-neighbourhoods/

Thank you for your entry Debbie. I know what you mean about favourite seasons, I think I love the change of each season into the next, feeling and seeing that shift is always just a bit thrilling.

It wa a glorious moon, wasn’t it? It’s interesting to note when we suddenly become aware of that shift towards autumn – it can be very sudden, can’t it, whether it’s a change of colour, or a dip in temperatures

It certainly was a glorious moon. I don’t remember having such a sudden realisation of autumn before, it was as if I just woke up to it in that moment and had to record it – that crispness in the air and the rustle of leaves underfoot. Miss E found her first conker of the year just after I took that photo – her delight reminded me of many childhood autumns of my own.

Thank you Eddie. That is Miss E in the turquoise top – the combination of the colours of her clothes and the autumn leaves made me remember our photo prompt – I love it when things come together like that. xx
