    • Thank you Barbara, although we are doing a Beach Clean and mainly picking up plastic rubbish the children love finding anything and get quite competitive to see who can find the most – I just love their enthusiasm. xx

  5. A boy hunting for shells – such a timeless vision. But not all boys have special handmade hoodies and scarves! (On our walk to vote this morning, I spotted a lone flip-flop in the leaves … too bad my camera [phone] was left at home.)

    • What a lovely comment – yes, it is timeless isn’t it, thank you for that, ever since humans have been near beaches I’m sure they have collected treasures.
What an extraordinary time you are having right now – the political climate seems to but going topsy turvy all over the world – things needed to change but good gracious maybe it all has to get worse before it gets better. Our news is full of your election – we all wait to hear the result.
I too have started to notice dropped items everywhere – “flip-flop in the leaves” there is an allegory in there somewhere!
