Spirit of the sea, my spiritual home, the place where I am most in touch with the spirit of my grandfather. Click on the photo to see it larger.
I am on retreat at the moment, recharging my spiritual, emotional and creative batteries. I have very limited access to the internet and feel slightly disconnected to cyberspace, but I did not want to miss our last prompt.
Thank you so much to all who have joined in throughout the year, it has been so good to make new blog connections – hope to see you in the comments in 2017.
Cathy and I think we have created an interesting mix for our next list – hope you agree!!!
Each subject goes live on Tuesdays, please leave a link to your interpretation in the comments.
I do hope you all had a joyful time over the last couple of weeks and wish you all the very best for 2017.
❤
Goodness, has another year past?! I have been a bit of a recluse myself these days. Missing my blogging friends though. Time to reconnect. Enjoy your you time my darling and we shall chat more upon your return. Hugs!!

A beautiful image and a great story Sandra. The sea is my spiritual connection , I have lived beside it for most of my life. I did make the last for the year and posted to Cathy. Enjoy the retreat, stay device free as long as you can on retreat.

Thank you Denis, i too have lived near the sea – well, all of my life. I’m no swimmer or sailor but I do love being beside it. I enjoyed the retreat but I have to admit I missed the internet access after the first 2 weeks. Great to have you along in the One-a-Week Photo Challenge for 2017, I’m hoping to get back into combining it with haiku soon. 😉

Lovely interpretation. I think I would like to know more about your beloved grandfather. Come back recharged for 2017.

My grandfather does seem to crop up quite few times in this blog doesn’t he, especially when I am in Wales. He was a truly lovely altruistic man, much loved by many, he died in 1979 aged 76 and I will always miss him. “Those who give of themselves live on within the hearts of others”.

Just catching up with comments Marian. You have a photo of this spot! That is exciting!
When were you there? Did you visit any gardens in the area? Will you be visiting Wales or any other part of the UK again?
Sorry – too many questions – it is so great to find other people who connect to the places I know and love so well. 😀
