  3. Sadly education often crushes creativity Sandra especially secondary school. Speaking as a former teacher I had to battle colleagues to be creative teachers and encourage creativity in their students across learning areas. That was a battle I can tell you.

    • You are so right Denis – it crushed mine – I did not get back to painting until I was in my 30s. I’m so glad you fought that battle – which still rages here in the UK – that is why I’m so glad to offer my grandchildren many and various creative opportunities.

  12. How lovely. Brings back happy memories of when my children were little and we used to make little gardens with foil tins as the base. I’d supply little mirrors for water, and stones for path edging. Yours is so colourful. Thanks for sharing
