“There she was just a-walkin’ down the street, singin’ “Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do”
Snappin’ her fingers and shufflin’ her feet, singin’ “Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do”
She looked good (looked good), she looked fine (looked fine)
She looked good, she looked fine and I nearly lost my mind………”

If it was Christmas I’d think she’s mid way through the gloria bits in ‘Ding Dong Merrily On High’. As it isn’t… ‘Take Me To The River’?

I’ve got ‘Pretty Woman’ sung by Roy Orbison going on in my head!

I see her! You have such a great eye for putting things together, and now I’m curious, do you think your life perspective is the same? Are you a creative problem solver or idea generator too? Yes, I’ve been thinking deep thoughts this morning….😉

Wowsers Kathy, deep indeed. I’m truly fascinated by your questions. Is my ‘life perspective’ the same – as what or who, I’m wondering?
I am definitely a creative problem solver, I will try looking at difficult situations in a squillion different ways until I find a way through. It takes me a LONG time to give up on anything, but when I come to the conclusion to give up – i do so quickly and cleanly (hopefully!). I’m reminded of this saying “Hold on tightly, let go lightly”, that sums up my approach quite well.
I don’t know about an ‘idea generator’ but I am constantly bombarded with ideas – my challenge is to know which ones are worth pursuing.
Like I say to my grandchildren – “You can do anything you want to, but you can’t do EVERYTHING you want to do”.
Does that answer your questions?
If not ask some more! I’m happy to answer.
🙂

That certainly fits with my impression of you. I have been wondering about how our creativity might be a window to how we perceive life in general, especially in regard to using a pattern for a project. Do we HAVE to have one, like to refer one, just wing it,etc. is that a constant, or for certain situations…I look at your ability to rearrange stuff into art that has a clear message, and it makes me think about you being able to do that with life situations.😊 Now I better think some more, because this is meandering, not concise, just fuzzy!

Gosh – well, I don’t always have to have a pattern, but I often start off with one and then alter it to suit. I hardly ever follow instructions without altering them in some way – the rebel in me!
I used to be a worrier, with a tendency to be negative and pessimistic – then a few emotional earthquakes in my life took me into counselling and therapy – I tried everything!!!! Then I trained as a Humanistic Counsellor – all that knocked most of the negative corners away – now I think I am generally positive, but I keep a wary eye out for the slithery negativity monster! 😉
