Mandala Madness with Spiro Star centre in Scheepjes Bonbon

Spiro Star centre for Mandala Madness: photo tutorial here

Both patterns are by Helen Shrimpton

In Scheepjes Bonbon cotton thread with a 2mm hook.

Colours: Chrystaline, Lime Juice, Candlelight, and Snow White

(I am still having problems with ‘Photos’ on my computer, so I can not always edit as I would like – hence the top photo being quite dark)

The size so far:

I think it will be about a meter across when finished and might be used as a tabelcloth for an octagonal table I have in the sitting room – ย although after each round I look at it (a lot!), stroke it and imagine it framed on the wall – Yes I’m in love!!!

Does anyone else just have to stroke their yarny or sewing projects?

  1. Don’t frame it under glass!!! It has soooo much texture it’s begging to be touched! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ Beautiful!

  3. This looks gorgeous. And I definitely stroke my yarn. I’ve recently started a new crochet project and the yarn is so soft and bouncy I can’t help but play with it.

  5. A metre across? Wow, that’s sure to be a conversation starter! For the record, yes, I have an urge to stroke anything yarny that verges on the immoral.

  7. I can see it on a table near the sea, with those colours.
