The scent of honeysuckle floating in a dish, glowing in the morning sunlight
so beautiful to wake up to.

And just because I love lichen …… I found this in the woods when I was gathering material to create …. well it turned out to be Mrs Moss
Such exquisite arrangements! Very delicate, I’ve never them displayed so nicely. As a little girl, the high point of walking to school was passing the honeysuckle fence…I loved the fragrance.

Thank you Jen. Childhood memories ……… scents bring them back don’t they. The scent reminds me of summer holidays with my Welsh Grandfather. ❤

I guess tiles can be digitally printed – hmmmm, I’ll have to look into that one. Thank you Eddie! 😀

Another gorgeous creation, it’s very pleasing. What a good idea to put honeysuckle in a shallow dish.

Thank you Alison, after making the arrangement of bits and pieces I didn’t want to throw the honeysuckle away – the scent is so delicious – often solving a puzzle produces a good solution, I will definitely do it again – there is something very relaxing about floating flowers.

This is lovely! Wouldn’t it make a beautiful Christmas tile? Do you press any of your mandalas? They are so fine.

Love your comment Eliza – full of great ideas. I do press flowers and leaves and then use the pressed items in pictures but I have not pressed a whole mandala. I wonder if that would work – I’m often disappointed with pressed flowers, they lose their vibrancy. I might try laminating some fresh flowers and see what happens.
Now, I had not thought of tiles! Something to ponder on.
Thannk you – very inspiring! ❤

Laminating fresh flowers on heavy watercolor rag paper (to absorb moisture) might work. Glad to inspire. 🙂

What a beautiful display. I recently saw a photo where someone used a similar concept to decorate a table. I like the size and delicacy of yours better.

Thank you Lisa, the rosehips are on a self-seeded wild rose in my wilderness patch – they sing out in the September sunshine.
