Stunning, is there more to come?

Yes, there is more to come. Jen Tyler, the designer, is calling it a Mystery Along. We think it will eventually be a bedspread for a double bed. It currently measures 101cm across.

My 3 teen (15,16,17) daughters and I enlarged the picture on the computer and drooled over this for about a half an hour! Each one pointing out what we loved!
Absolutely stunning! So intricate! Beautiful!!

None of my girls except my oldest ever wanted to learn crochet. But they love my feeble and made up crocheted patterns! I’m “pattern directions” illiterate.
So I have made afghans, scarves, cowels, things I’m quite pleased with.
For my crochet enjoyment I ooh and ahh over the beauty of crochet like yours. The girls enjoy my pointing out the beauty and challenge of the crochet I show them! ;o) They are a fun audience! Who knows- maybe someday they’ll crochet?! These 3 are very artistic and crafty in many other ways.

Have you tried watching crochet videos?
You might not have the time at the moment, but Esther of https://itsallinanutshell.com does very easy to follow video tutorials. I made Mandala Madness using her videos, which was my first complicated pattern.

I see what you mean – I’m doing more rows of dark colours to create the boundary ‘hedge’. I’m absolutely loving making it.
