They are Guinea Fowls. Funny things with small heads, big bodies and beautiful spotty feathers. They are kept by one of my neighbours but two escaped from her pen and decided to roost in the tree at the bottom of my garden. I love them and the burbling sound they make.

We love Guinea! We eat it at least 2x a month- we have to order it frozen, none for sale to eat nearby us! All dark meat!

I don’t think I have ever eaten Guinea Fowl – I’d like to try it though, I like the dark meat on a chicken the best.
