  7. That’s where I’d like to be … Wonderful. I find it hard not to burn out the clouds, but still get the range in the greens. Any tips?

    • Do you mean when you are taking your own photos ?
      If so, I always take a few different photos with more and less sky in the mix as the amount of light entering the lens makes the automatic settings do different things. I then look through them on the computer and choose the best one.
      This photo was taken with an iPhone 6s.


      • Yes, exactly (sorry for any confusion). My pocket Canon can’t cope with the dynamic range and gives up with clouds, tending to white them out. I think phones do some behind the scenes processing, so that the dynamic range is maintained at both ends of the brightness scale. Don’t think my iPhone 5 is as good, sadly.
