Textile Tuesday: Wild Twinchies

I just love seeing those little envelopes pop through my letterbox. If you want to know more about this project see this post.

These are just arranged randomly at the moment.

Aren’t they yummy! An Autumnal theme is developing methinks.

Only two more to come and then I can start playing around with how to bring them all together.

Thank you so much to all who have joined in

Life is a bit hectic here right now – all good but it is keeping me away from blogging – I am looking forward to it all calming down soon.

    • Your squares are beautiful Dawn – I hope this gives you confidence to have a go at some more slow stitching. 🙂

      • It’s been a joy to be part of, and I well might do some more. What was really delightfully surprising was the book I have, my wonderful encyclopaedia of stitches was written by Jan Eaton, and it turns out she also wrote a crochet book my pal gave me for my birthday – so I ordered an encyclopaedia of crochet stitches written by her too and I think it is going to be as useful as the embroidery one. Thanks again for letting me join in. I’d love to do so again if you run another.

        • How wonderful! Sounds like you have plenty of stitching fun ahead of you.
If I can create something I feel is worthy of the joy, the love, the work everyone has contributed, I certainly will do another similar project. 🙂

  8. Funny, I see a reef theme: there’s a starfish, a sand dollar, a sea anemone, a kelp bed, sea foam…
