This happened on a day on Climping Beach, West Sussex, during the Land Art Course I was on at West Dean College
All that seaweed – couldn’t resist!

You earthlings are really quite mad
Surely yoga is just a strange fad?
Standing still like a tree
Is alien to me
It’ s not the best fun that I’ve had
You say it helps you relax?
I think I’ve put out my back!
All this stretching and bending
Is torture never-ending
I’m sure I can feel my bones crack!
poem by Judy E Martin
Another fun creative collaboration between Judy and me. I do hope you are enjoying our ‘Silly Saturdays’ as much as we are enjoying putting them together.
Appropriate, as my back is giving me jip and, later today, I’m off the see if the Osteopath can CRACK my bones back into shape. Wish me luck!

For a humourous look at life go to Edwina’s Episodes and read Judy’s brilliant book: “Rhymes of the Times”.

The feel of the pole between my thighs
Is rather a pleasant surprise
It doesn’t feel daft
Sliding around on the shaft
You can tell by the look in my eyes.
My customers, I just aim to please
As I twirl and perform a striptease
I am truly delighted
To get you excited
Your desires I long to appease
To make me feel like a star
Stuff a wad of cash in my bra
Have a grope of my nips
As you leave me some tips
And buy me a drink at the bar!

Judy and I have had such fun again this week, I am loving how we seem to egg each other on and inspire one another – we are both prone to large doses of nudge-nudge, wink-wink humour – hope you enjoy this week’s combined silliness.
If you enjoy Judy’s poetry as much as I do – you are in luck, she has put a selection of her poetry in a book: Rhymes of the Times : a lighthearted look at life through rhyme.

This little chap was made by my son-in-law.
I have recently returned for a week’s holiday in Solva, with my daughter A, M and their 3 children.
Wales is always wet and windy, but we did have a glorious time with masses of sunshine, days on the beach building sand dragons and rock-pooling, wild walks, meeting up with family and friends, and relaxing in the evenings with a glass of wine – and seaweed.
A Wild Food Foraging walk with Julia of Wild About Pembrokeshire, gave us the information that all seaweed in the UK is edible, so long as it is still growing on the rocks. So I gathered some, washed it and marinated it in SoySauce, piri piri, black pepper and lime juice, garnished with edible honeysuckle florets.
The seaweed was crunchy and delicious to nibble with a glass of Pinot Grigio or a tasty Malbec. Go on try some!

Mystery: Have you ever wondered how to draw a labyrinth? Have you ever wondered how Marc Treanor creates his magical sand designs? Have you ever wondered about the mystery of the power of labyrinths?
I learned to draw labyrinths many years ago but the sand designs remained a MYSTERY until 22.Sept this year when I was lucky enough to be able to join Marc on Mwnt Beach in Ceredigion, Wales for a supremely magical evening to celebrate the Autumn Equinox.
Marc Posted this beautiful short video on You Tube and Facebook
I felt extremely blessed to have been able to be one of those long moving shadows making our way around the path to the centre and out again, whilst a flute and ukulele played and children sat around the fire in the middle.
You can see me carrying a magpie feather on the left, in this photo by Dimlo Sighs, which he has kindly given permission for me to include.
Profound, mysterious, magical, unforgettable.
