Inspired by a post on Murtagh’s Meadow, a delightful blog from Ireland, 7 wonder words just jumped out onto the screen as an immediate response. I just love it when inspiration strikes in a flash of spontaneity.
My 7 wonder words:
SPARKLE
Other words that spring to mind to go along with Sparkle: spangle, twinkle, glitter, beam, glow, shine, glisten (and splarkies, the word my 2 year old granddaughter coined to describe some stickers I had covered with glitter for her)
MAGIC
Because there is magic all around and when you feel it working – well that is a wonderful feeling of alignment with the forces of good
Words that spill through my mind when I think of ‘magic’: wonder, spontaneity, surprise, alignment, elements, serendipity, inspiration.
The picture is from the most magical place I have ever lived, where magical people gathered to create wonderfully magical happenings.
DELIGHT
is a bright feeling of love, joy and expansion.
DANCE
fun, happiness, togetherness, harmony, energy, memories of dancing from a child, through teens and twenties to now: alone for joy, with strangers, lovers, family, and friends, at weddings and birthdays and all manner of celebrations
MALARKEY
the more malarkey the better!
SKEDADDLE
sometimes you just have to go !
MOTHERHOOD
rich and full, exhausting and exhilarating and needs to be honoured more than it is

Murtagh’s Meadow’s post was prompted by the Daily Post
“The writing prompt was: “Seven Wonders.” It is said that Khalil Gibran (a Lebanese artist, poet, and writer, born in 1883) once said that people will never understand one another unless language is reduced to seven words.”
What would your seven words be?
I really like your words. Haha especially malarkey. All my best times are full of malarkey. Jibber jabber.

Thank you Edwina, it was fun to trawl through old pics to find some suitable ones – none for ‘skedaddle’ yet – I can only think of a cartoon type picture of a creature with revolving legs, in my head.

Ha HA! I think that image would sum up skedaddle perfectly!

Gosh, what an interesting thought, just 7 words, I shall have to think. Love your choices especially malarkey, one of my favourites!

Thanks for your comment Cathy, I think if I ever had cats or dogs again Malarkey and Skedaddle might have to be their names. xx
