……… turning back the views are spectacular. (see the beginning of this walk here) Portland (where my beach hut/studio is) lying out across Weymouth Baylooking west to Weymouthhouses on the cliff tops, would you like to live there?and a remote post boxI’m wondering how long these daily collections and deliveries will continue.
I’m no great swimmer or sailor, but I have always lived near the sea and would not want to live any further inland.
Here is a link to Hanna’s walk in Sweden, Lucy’s walk in Yorkshire and Alistair’s walk in Wales
It would be lovely to be able to walk-along with you too. Send me a link to your blog post and I will include it here or in my next Wednesday Walk-Along. If you don’t have a blog then send an email with a picture or two.
Ooooh… Ahhh… Sandra, you truly are blessed—living within walking distance of spectacular scenery like that!!! I knew your area was beautiful, but this is absolutely dreamy!!! 🙂 ♥ ❤

I agree Jackie!! I NEVER take it for granted, I always think how lucky/blessed I am to have been born in this part of the world. Are you able to get out for walks at all at the moment? I hear the snow is particularly deep over there right now.

We’ve had our share of snow and freezing rain, although we are accustomed to much worse weather. But this year, it’s like we swapped weather with eastern Canada and the USA… 1000’s of miles away from here. Their snowy images have been making headlines… whew!!! Good for us, not so great for them! ♥ ❤

Aww I love this area of Dorset. I grew up in Dorset where my parents still live. The jurassic coast is spectacular. I should really try for some more local walks at the weekends. Thanks for sharing yours x

It’s a pleasure Christie, great to have you along for the return journey. I’d love to live on those cliffs too – apart from the cliff falls that happen after extreme weather – yikes! that must be scary!
